1. In your own words, how do you define accounting information system?

An accounting information system (AIS) involves the collection, storage, and


processing of financial and accounting data used by internal users to report
information to investors, creditors, and tax authorities
2. Who are the users of AIS?
AIS can be used by accountants, consultants, business analysts, managers, chief financial
officers, auditors, and regulators.
3. Do you think AIS can add value to the organization?
Accounting Information System (AIS) can add value to an organization by improving
its efficiency in data collection and processing of data and at the same time improve
decision making capabilities of the management.
4. Is the organization welcoming?
Yes, as they are able to answer our queries even though the interview was through
mobile communication, they were very responsive.
5. What can you say about this experience?
What I can say about the experience of conducting an interview is that it was
informative. It helped me gain knowledge on the organization itself and their
accounting information system.
