1. Length of Content: At least 1000 words in 1.5 line spacing with font size 12
2. Each report will be marked according to the following three components:

Understanding of the topic and materials presented. 40%
This shows how well the student understands the topic presented, and how he/she summarizes the content of the presentation.
Critical analysis of the science in the presentation. 40%
This includes how the student criticizes the presenter’s work; e.g. whether the experimental design or results obtained fulfilled the objective of the work; whether the hypotheses formed are correct; whether the interpretation of results is scientific, etc.
Critical evaluation of the presentation skills. 20%
For example, the organization of the presentation, the clarity of the talk, the skills in presenting the material and the involvement during discussion.

3. Each report will be given a total mark out of 100.
This mark will be converted to a grade according to the University’s guidelines
(i.e. Grade A+ : ≥85%; Grade A : 80-84%; Grade A- : 75-79%; Grade B+ : 70-74%; Grade B : 65-69%; Grade B- : 60-64%; Grade C+ : 55-59%; Grade C : 50-54%; Grade C- : 45-49%; Grade D : 40-44%; Grade F : <40%).
Marks and any written comments on the critiques will be returned to the student.
