Division :
 Division is sharing in equal Quantities.
 Division is also called as Grouping of Numbers.
➢ It is the opposite of Multiplication.
⍣ The symbol used for division is
⍣ Division is the repeated Subtraction of the same number.
⍣ The number to be divided is called Dividend.
⍣ The number by which we divide is called Divisor.
⍣ The result of division is called Quotient.
⍣ The number which remains undivided is called Remainder.

 Properties of Division

1. The Quotient of the number divided by itself is1.


Eg : 3 3 1
2. The Quotient of a number Divided by 1 is the number
itself.
Eg : 4 1 4
3. 0 divided by a number (non-zero) gives 0 as the Quotient.
Eg: 0 5 0
4. It is not possible to divide any number by Zero.
Eg: 25 0 Undefined

NOTE : The Remainder is always less than the Divisor.
