The graph below shows four countries of residence of overseas students in

Australia.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and
make comparisons where relevant.

The line graph compares and contrasts data on the differences in the number of students in different
countries who come to Australia to study oversea.
In general, the number of residents who come to Australia for education increases overall.
More specifically, the number of students in Indonesia kept the highest amount since t 1993, while the
number in Singapore is mostly the least among students who live and study in Australia.
From the start of the graph in 1982, Malaysia had the highest number of students at around 7 in 1000
students. In 1993, the number increased moderately to nearly ten residences out of 1000 then it
remains constant until 1990.
One interesting point to note is that in the year 1999, the number of students going to Australia for
education dropped to around 2 to three students per country with an exception in Malaysia where the
number kept increasing.
