Module Description
Client is around 65 years old. Client had uncontrolled hypertension for 20 years. Three years
ago, client got a stroke and had to be in the hospital for a few days. Client’s left side dan
lower extremity totally was paralysed, had motoric aphasia, and difficult for swallowing.
Client has done several physical rehabilitations for his/her condition. But, at this time, client
still hardly moves his/her left side and has been bedridden for the past week. Client’s blood
pressure is 160/100 mmHg on the last visit. Client’s main problem is mobilitation dan
communication imppairement and loss of muscle mass caused deficit of oral and nail
hygiene.

Competitor Tasks

 Make a daycare plan for client by filling planning online form

 Do an oral care
 Do nail care
 Do non occupied bed making
 Record the activities on documentation online form

Information for you as actor/actress

1. Client can be a woman/man with 65 years old and above and having hemiplegia for lower
body and can not move her/his right hand also. Client having communication impairement
due to her/his post stoke.
2. If none of school member is eligible as mention in point (1), the actor/actress must follow
criteria below:
a. Using make up in order to look like elderly (i.e wrinkle, gray hair, and cracked lips)
b. Client’s body is in weak and somnolent state.
3. While being a client, you must do what is directed by the competitor (your condition is in
unilateral paralyzed and can’t move without help).
4. Let the competitor lead the conversation
