Summary: 8 steps for the success of a marketing plan.

The success of a marketing plan depends of the information, the collection and
usage of this information is divided into 8 different parts:

1. Explore: many marketing plans are success because they explored a variety
of ideas and plans, not only in their own sector, but also in other industries.
2. Analyse your customers: instead of asking question to others, ask questions
to your own customers and you will get the best answer and the best advice
possible.
3. Analyse your competition: Who are your competitors and what are they
doing to attract customers? You need to know your customers and your
competitors as well the market scenario.
4. Analyse yourself: your overall strategy will depend on where you stand in
the market.
5. Prepare your marketing plan: at this stage, you decide your long terms as
well as short term strategy. Marketing plans are made months in advance.
6. Implement: Implement the plan. Always have a contingency plan prepare.
7. Follow up: What is the reaction of your customers? Are they satisfied or was
it a disappointment?
8. Explore other opportunities: your customers don’t expect things again and
again from you. The more the competition, more you need to find new
opportunities in the market.
