PRESIDENTIAL DECREE No. 968 July 24, 1976

Title and Scope of the Decree.This Decree shall be known as the Probation Law of

1976. It shall apply to all offenders except those entitled to the benefits under the

provisions of Presidential Decree numbered Six Hundred and three and similar laws.

B. R.A 9344

Minor Probition Law of 2006 R.A 9344 institutionalized the promotion of well being of

the child and from their familie.

C. ACT NO. 4221

Probation Act - August 7, 1935 Created the Probation office under the Department of

Justice (DOJ)

D. ACT 4103
Indeterminate Sentence Law (ISL), Act to provide for an indeterminate sentence and

parole for all persons convicted of certain crimes.

E. R.A 10592

Good Conduct Time Allowance (GCTA), When upon being summoned for the execution

of their sentence they have failed to surrender voluntarily

F. R.A 10389

Recognizance Act of 2012 - July 23, 2012. Institutionalizes the recognizance as a mode

of granting the release of an indigent person in custody as an accused in a criminal

case before conviction by the Regional Trial Court.
