1. What is the primary goal of this study?

Do dragonfly nymphs eat less mosquito larvae when there are crayfish.

2. What data did the researchers collect from observational experiments in the Santa
Monica mountains?

They found where there was no crayfish, there was a lot of dragonfly nymphs
and no mosquito larvae, but were there was crayfish there was less dragonfly
nymphs and a lot more mosquitos.

3. What data did the researchers collect from controlled experiments in the laboratory?

The data was similar, more crayfish meant less dragonfly nymphs and more
mosquitos.

4. What were the major findings/conclusions from these experiments?

Crayfish can lead to a increase in mosquito population.

5. In your personal opinion, why should we care about these findings?

Mosquitos spread disease so if to many crayfish increase the mosquito population maybe we should
control the population of crayfish.
