SIN AND GRACE

The fundamental notion of "unconditional love" is that it has no strings attached. If God's
love is conditional on my meeting certain requirements, it is not unconditional.

According to the Bible, God's core nature is love itself, not just loving. And it is this love
that supports, upholds, and continues to supply the grace and compassion that a
disbelieving, irreverent, and rebellious world requires to keep operating. Even while
Bible-quoting atheists and sarcastic cynics dismiss it, the sinless life, atoning death, and
triumphal resurrection of His only born Son, Jesus Christ, as revealed in Romans 5:6–
10, is a profound self-revelation of His love.

6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some
would even dare to die.
8 But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ
died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath
through him.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son,
much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

And we receive forgiveness and the power to live a changed life when we put our faith
in Him, repent of the sins He came to set us free from, and receive forgiveness and the
power to live a changed life.

PRAYER OF FORGIVENESS

Father in Heaven, you already know everything there is to know about me. Before I tell
you anything, especially today, my head is bowed low. Lord, please accept my heartfelt
apologies. It was never my intention for it to happen. The limits were lowered. And I
didn't make the best decision. Your mercy and grace are required for my decision. I
simply don't have any other options. Thank you for demonstrating that your love has no
bounds. And your grace is unfathomable. Thank you for your never-failing mercy. Also,
that your mercy knows no bounds, that you are God, please expand Beyond the
passage of time, Thy forgiveness is greater than the wreckage of a soul. AMEN.
