Above is the problem one graph and you can see that the magnitude spectrum of z(t) is some of

the magnitude spectra of x(t) and y(t)..

Question 2

Here I use 30 harmonics to create x'(t)

Question 3

Signal frequency=150 hz
nyquist=300hz
Used sampling frequency =1800hz

Maximum frequency component=2000

nyquist=4000
Sampling frequency=10000
maximum_frequency=85
nyquist=170
sampling-frequency=500

Question 4

Result using built-in FFT function

I am getting same magnitude spectrum but i am not getting same phase sprecturm
Question 5:

From phase spectra of x(w) and y(w) we can say that they are not multiple of pi hence x(w) and
y(w) are complex

High frequency component make the signal noisier

Magnitude of high frequency are more in y(t) compare to x(t) hence x(t) is smoother

From the decibaln plots we can see the same result

High frequency component have higher decibel values in y(t) compare to x(t) hence x(t)
Is smoother

Derivative of signal may cause discontinuity in it at t=0 there is a sharp peak in signal ,it is not
smoother hence at this point derivative is discontnuious .in the above figure we are not seeing
this discontinujity because we are point discrete figure and considering them as continuous
