Dear Families,
Welcome to Dual-Language Pre-Kindergarten. I am excited to have your children
in my class. I know that they will shine brightly in my classroom because it will be
full of learning and wonder. Our play-base curriculum allows our students to learn
through play and fun hands-on-activities.
My name is Mrs. Esby and I am from Mexico. I always wanted to be a teacher. I
graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a Bachelor’s in Science
degree in University Studies with a mayor in Family and Marriage and a minor in
Child Development and Spanish. I have 5 years of experience working with Pre-K
students and I love it.
I believe that communication is the key to your children’s success and to a great
parent/teacher relationship. I encourage you to contact me if you have any
questions or concerns at any time. I will also do my part by sending home a
weekly communication folder that will go out at the beginning of each week, and I
ask you to return it to the classroom every Friday. The communication folder will
include a weekly newsletter announcing any upcoming events and our learning
objectives of the week. When returning the folder feel free to include a not to the
teacher. I will respond by Tuesday of the following week the latest.
Everyone of you is welcome to visit our classroom any time. Just make sure to
check our schedule to make sure we are not outside or napping.
