“BOUGHT PRESENTS OR
HOMEMADE PRESENTS?”
When it comes up to birthdays, marriages or other
important celebrations, choosing an appropriate
present for the celebrated ones is not so easy.
People should be aware of what kind of present
shall be more adequate, and most importantly,
they must pay attention to what the other person’s
expectations could be. A hard choice indeed. It is
usually believed that bought presents, which have
a luxury value, are not so precious as the
homemade ones, in which there has been put a lot
of effort and passion. But is this an absolute truth?

It depends totally on the person and on the

occasion. Poor people who can’t afford luxuries
will surely be glad to receive something valuable
in terms of money: a new phone, new cool clothes
or something even more expensive. Either they
seek these items just for showing them off or they
just need them, it is not up to us to judge their
mentality.

On the second hand, we have heartwarming

homemade creations. The affective value is surely
insurmountable in comparison with the previous
type of present, but maybe, if a person searches
for something practically useful, it would not
always be the best choice. Think carefully before
setting everything up!

In conclusion, there is no absolute truth about

which present is the best. A present, in fact, shall
make someone happy, and if it does, then it’s a
good present, even if there have not been put
hours of effort in it. Make a present which will be
everlasting in the mind of the person who is given
it!
