Environmental Clearance, sr, “The undersigned ie directed to refer to your letter no, CC:ESE:9575:2010: GEN, 068, dated 18.11.2010 and CC-ESE:0280;2010:GEN'18C, dated 20,122010 on the ‘subject mentioned above. The Ministry of Environment & Forests has examined the ‘application. 2. Ithas been noted thatthe proposal is for seting up of 2x660 MW (Stage!) ‘Super-Crtical Coal Based Thermal Power Plant at vilages Mouda, Kumbhar Lapis, Koradl, and Rabi in Taluk Mouda, in Nagpur Dist..n Maharashtra. 2x500 MW (Stage!) is under constuction. Land requirement shall be restcted to 1800, ‘acres for bath the Stages-lall. Out of total land requirement, about 828 acres of land is pany single and party double crop agricultural land. Double cropland potion shall be deleted affer optimization tothe extent possible. its noted thatthe above Project is under the bulk tendering programme to augment the power equipment manufacturing capacity in the country through energy efficent super rica teonnology wih the purpose to have bult-in phased manufacturng programme, Coal requirement wil be 7.85 MTPA at 90 % PLF. Letier of assurance for supply of required coal from Mis Mahanadi Coalfelds Limites has been obtained vide theit lett dated 11.12.2010, Iti also noted that W/s Mahanadi Coalfields Lid. vide letter fo, MCLISBP/SBM/DT (OPY2010/3041 dated 7.122010 addressed to hls NTPC. Lid have mentioned that the coal will be supplied from the operating mines of Mahsnadi Coalfields Limited. High Concentation Slurry Disposal System shall be adopted. Quantity of fly ash to be generated will be about 2.77 MTPA. Water Tequirement wil be restricted to 40 cusecs. Source of water will be from Ghosikurd Dam on Wainganga / Kanhnan River ata point, 24
