Turning Radio “On” For power to reach the radio, the ignition switch must be in either “ACCESSORY” or “ON” position, and radio turned on. Power Antenna Care To Clean (before lubricating) Mast: 1. Raise antenna to full height. 2. Dampen clean cloth with mineral spirits. 3. Wipe cloth over mast sections, removing any dirt. 4. Retract and extend antenna. 5. Repeat steps 1 thru 4 at least two more times. To Lubricate (after cleaning) Mast: 1. Raise antenna to full height. 2. When the highest frequency is reached, the display will continue tuning, starting from the lowest frequency. The opposite is true when the lowest frequency is reached. D. AM-FM Bandswitch Button (““AM-FM")— Press to alternately select AM or FM band. £.
