AP Students and Parents,

To better be prepared for the school year, please be aware that this class results in credit from
both BISD and, should you pass the exam in the Spring, college credit at most colleges. The
syllabus is available here on my Weebly. Please read to better understand your responsibilities
as a student and what you can expect. Below is some additional information you may have
questions about at this time. If you have further questions, you can contact me through this site
under the Information tab

Classes
• All classes will be held at the assigned time
• Attendance will be taken daily
AP Art History
• We have textbooks available in the room.
• You will be provided with a binder for keeping notes and holding relevant course
information
AP Studio

• You will be provided with most materials necessary to complete your work.
• You will need a laptop occasionally for editing and posting information in your AP
Portfolio
Communication

• I will email through your BISD email and post messages and assignments in the Google
classroom. I will email links at the beginning of the year.
• be sure to check your school email regularly I will be setting up classes on the
Collegeboard and a Google Classroom that you will need to
join- https://apstudents.collegeboard.org/join-your-class-online
Need Technology?

• At the beginning of the school year arrange to borrow a laptop to keep up with the
course
• While a phone or tablet work in some cases, students have had difficulty with using a
phone or tablet for completing and submitting assignments that involve
word processing
