Course Objective:
This course will enable the students to get in-depth knowledge about the various aspects of crimes and various
criminal offences. The course should prepare the student to identify an act as a crime or not and how to prosecute or
defend the same. The student’s will also be able to look into the various changes that had to be incorporated due to
the requirements of rapidly changing society including intolerance towards offences basically targeted against
women. They will also be able to observe some severe shortfalls in our criminal laws and need for speedy reform of
the same.
