NIGHTFALL IN MEN

INTRODUCTION:
Nightfall in men means ejaculation of sperm at night while sleeping or in the early morning.

As the penis emits seminal fluid doctors call it as nocturnal emission. It occurs due to the

over production of sperms and stress. It is an involuntary sperm ejaculation when asleep.

This is happening because of too much exposure to sexual content and lack of sexual activity.

Nightfall is very common in youngsters and it slowly fades with age. Nightfall can also occur

because of nervous damage such as an injury in spinal cord, brain tumor and multiple

sclerosis. In bedwetting cases, a person urinates on a bed without being known to him where

there are some issues in the nervous system which fails to send or receive signals to the brain.
CAUSES FOR NIGHTFALL IN MEN:

 Primarily occurs due to penile muscle weakness

 Thinning of semen density

 Change in hormone level

 Absence or lack of sexual exertion

 Obesity

 Stress

 Physical inactivity

 Sleeping with full bladder

TREATMENT:

With proper counseling, therapies and simple changes in lifestyle, nightfall can be

completely dismissed. Changing the lifestyle and having a proper balanced diet can

contribute to decrease the effects of this condition and exercise on daily basis helps improve

the condition

Regimental Therapy

1. Moderate exercise is needed along with principles of Unani medicine.

2. Moderate involvement in sexual exercise .

Dietary restrictions
1. Less intake of Milk and milk products

Pharmacotherapy

1. Coriandrum sativum 1 part, sugar 1 part of powder taken orally

2. Using of fenugreek mix powder with an equal ratio of honey to mask the bitterness

before going to sleep. It is a good remedy for wet dreams.

Some natural treatment involves,

 Proper diet can ensure strength that you might have lost due to nightfall. 

 Practicing Yoga and meditation regularly before going to sleep can also help

in getting rid of the emissions. 

 Consuming ripe leaves of bottle gourd can help in curing insomnia and getting rid

of the nocturnal emissions. 

Treatment using natural or homemade remedies :

 2-3 bowls of yogurt a day. 

 Avoid watching Porn related stuffs

3. Having two cups of sage tea a day will reduce the chances of pineal l emission. 

4. Gooseberry - Popularly known as amla acts as an anti-oxidant and helps in

reducing the nightfall. Gradually the wet dreams problem will be solved. 

5. Bathing - It is advice to take bath before you go to bed. It helps you have a sound

sleep. A sound sleep is very important for avoiding nightfall. 

Is nightfall good or bad? Rare nightfall in men isn’t dangerous or bad. Nightfall is just

the tendency to clear the reservoir of sperms in adult men. Still frequent occurrences of
wet dreams may have some negative effect on the body as it can make a

person weak physically, mentally as well as sexually. Is nightfall a disease? NO! The

Nightfall problem or wet dreams is common in adolescent boys and as a result of erotic

fantasies. While nightfall in boys and night discharge is extremely regular (and good) at

least two times a month, studies say that nightfall with a higher frequency - more than

two times a month is alarming.

Nightfall side effects:

Restlessness, difficulties in urination, insomnia, night sweats and knee pain.

SYMPTOMS:

 Early discharge

 Burning sensation after urination

 Dribbling of semen

 Leg or back pain


CONCLUSION:

The frequency of nocturnal emissions varies tremendously. Some say it's because

they've been sexually inactive for 1–2 weeks and haven't engaged in either

intercourse or masturbation. The frequency of experiencing nightfall in men

usually decreases with age and/or with marriage, according to studies. Some males

experience emissions only after puberty, while others experience them during their

lives. No definitive relation has been established between the frequency of

nocturnal emissions and the frequency of masturbation.

The amount of nocturnal emissions a man has is influenced by whether or not he

uses testosterone-based medications. A study found that as testosterone levels were

raised, the number of boys reporting nocturnal emissions increased dramatically,

from 17 percent of subjects with no medication to 90 percent of subjects at a high

dose. Nightfall causes 13% of males to have their first ejaculation. According to a

study, males who had their first ejaculation through nocturnal emission were older

than those who had their first ejaculation through masturbation. So it can be cured

by normal changes in lifestyle and some therapies. If the occurrences of nightfall is

frequent consulting doctor is recommended.
