Dear someone

I hope my letter finds you well. I haven’t seen you for a while and I miss you so much, but I know I have
to wait until it all calms down. I believe that soon we will meet each other and we will spend time
together sharing our recent stories. But before we meet I want to tell you a little bit about my
quarantine.

In quarantine I tried things I had never done before. I helped my grandma to clean house with vacuum
cleaner. Maybe it wasn’t joyful, but when I saw her smiley face, it made me happy, too.

One more thing I did for the first time was frying eggs. Yes, I had never done it before independently. At
first when I broke the egg, some of the pieces of egg’s shell fall into the bowl. I tried hard to get all the
pieces out. When at last I got it, I poured the oil on the pan and then poured the egg. I was proud of
myself before one of my family members told me that I forgot salt. For me it was fun. I ate the egg which
was without salt and understood how important salt is.

More seriously, completely new experience for me was spending days and nights with all my family
members. All seven of us supported each other a lot. During this quarantine I learned much about my
mum’s and my grandparents’ childhood.

Of course I missed face to face relations with my friends, but I was conscious about not bringing
Coronavirus to older generation of my family. Therefore, I only had virtual contact with them.
