place for you. This church is a Roman Catholic church built by the Spaniards under the auspices of The Order of
St. Augustine. This can be found inside the very famous Intramuros in Manila where a lot of historical landmarks
takes place. San Agustin Church was built in 1607 under the supervision of four Augustinian fathers Francisco De
Bustos, Diego De Avila, Ildefonso Perez, and brother Alonso De Perea. The architect who designed the church is
Juan Macias which took inspiration on baroque architecture. The structure was made with hewn adobe stones
quarried from Meycauayan, Binangonan and San Mateo, Rizal. Because of its sturdy structure, this church became
famous after withstanding major earthquakes in Manila during 1645 up to the present. As it is one of the oldest
baroque churches in the Philippines,
