In this study, the attitudinal and religious world views come into
play.
Social learning is a notion that humans use intuitively and
instinctively throughout their lives, beginning in childhood in
order to discover their position in the world and society. Social
learning shapes fundamental ideas and worldviews such as
gender norms, religion, political views, and self-worth.

Furthermore, according to social control theory, people's

connections, commitments, values, conventions, and beliefs
persuade them not to breach the law. Thus, if moral rules are
internalized and individuals are connected to and have a stake in
their larger community, they will reduce their proclivity to
conduct deviant activities willingly.

These worldviews will come into play in the aforementioned.

What are some implications
of this worldview for your
study?
Attitudes play a role in the prevention of teenage smoking.
Youth who assign realistic values to the hazards and benefits of
smoking are better prepared to engage in the health-protective
activity of avoiding smoking. Youth, adolescents, and young
adults tend to be sensitive to incorrectly assigning risk and
benefit values to smoking. According to the theoretical view,
reinforcing attitudinal elements throughout adolescence may
counterbalance immature risk appraisal.

Religion, in terms of worldview, has the ability to impact many

areas of parenting. The majority of the young people and parents
in the research believed religion was more than a collection of
behaviors and that it would have an impact on family life.

Most parents and some young people underlined that a religious

way of life is passed down through generations, and
grandparents continue to have a big effect. Passing on their
behaviors, good or bad, was seen as an important element of
parenting by parents.
