Purpose: My purpose in writing this song is for the students to memorize and understand this

strategy for their learning.

Description of your output: I chose to write a song because I think it’s one of the effective
methods to learn and memorize a topic, just like the given reference short video on the module.

Explanation: Using this method can help students to facilitate learning more effectively.

From the Module on Metacognition, I realized that metacognitive methods have the potential to
significantly improve learning for all students in all subject areas. Teachers can use metacognitive tactics
to help students build self-regulation skills and a strong feeling of agency in their learning.  

Metacognitive tactics encourage pupils to reflect on their own thinking. This understanding of the
learning process gives them more control over their own learning. It also improves one's ability to self-
regulate and manage one's own motivation for learning. Planning how to approach learning tasks,
choosing acceptable techniques to finish a task, assessing progress, and measuring understanding are all
examples of metacognitive activity.
