Definition of Terms

The following terms are defined operationally and conceptually to better understand its context

in the study;

Active Learning Classrooms. spaces that are designed to support teaching and learning in an

atmosphere conducive to engaging students actively in their own.

Self-efficacy. the set of beliefs we hold about our ability to complete a particular task

Phenomenological approach. an approach to research that seeks to describe the essence of

a phenomenon by exploring it from the perspective of those who have experienced it.

Role modelling. a form of learning where individuals ascertain how to act or perform by

observing another individual.

Spirituality. Having a perspective on life, creation, and existence, a perspective that involves

concepts of morality

Competencies. are the knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors that contribute to individual

and organizational performance

Dexterities. readiness and grace in physical activity especially skill and ease in using the hands

manual dexterity.

Retentive. Having the quality, power, or capacity of retaining.

Assertive. means speaking up for one’s rights without disrespecting anyone else’s.
