 Chapter 1: -Getting Started

Sneha has just been through an amazing adventure! She is still dozing in her bed right
there in front of me-” “Narrator! I'm supposed to be a writing this story, right?”

“Okay, Okay I'll leave but you have to be downstairs by lunch time, okay??”

“Fine! I will now get. Out. Of. My. Room!

Okay.

It all started when I woke up on Saturday morning, the first day of summer vacation. Now, I don't
wake up really late on weekends, I wake up at seven, but I felt this day was special, even before I was out
of bed. I got out of bed and pet my dog fluffy.

That's when I saw a shiny red button on my side table. I was half asleep so I changed and washed my
face. I went back into my room and inspected the button. I decided that the professor would know so I
thought I would go to his lab, but first, I needed to get my friends Aanya and Sasha, I ran over to
Aanya’s house at super speed (literally don't you remember? I have powers.) and knocked on the door.

Aanya’s mom answered and I said hello. She let me in and I went to Aanya’s room. I rushed inside
and nearly gave Aanya a heart attack. “Aaah! Sneha, you scared me!” she Screamed." Oops, Sorry
But you know me! I always have news" I replied.

“Okay, what” she sighed.

“Look what I found when I woke up” I said as I pulled out the button. "Oohh what does it do?” She asked
curiously "I don't know yet, I was in a real hurry to get to you because it might lead to a new adventure
and I don't want to go alone?” I replied, without a breath.

“Oh, okay but shouldn't we go to Sasha's house? We can’t go without her!” Aanya, pointed out ‘’Yeah, I
know but her house is wayyy too far away!! Besides, how are we going to get there?" I said

"Hmm I didn't think of that” she

hesitated “I wish we were at her house." I
wished leaning on the table. " Careful!
you're on the button!” yelped Aanya

Then the room started to spin and before I

knew what was happening, we were at
Sasha's house, dazed and confused.
"Woah, what in the world, just happened?"
I asked. "I don't know, you just said you
wanted to go to Sasha's house and you leaned on the button, then we teleported to over here" Aanya
replied "Wait, the button?!”

Aanya and I exclaimed all at once. “Hey, what are you guys doing here!?” exclaimed Sasha out of
nowhere "Just trying to figure out” she looked at me quizzically. ‘’Long story’’ I said. We explained
everything to her from me waking up right to that moment “Wow”, said Sasha "That's unexpected’’

“Yeah, and I was planning to teleport with a button on Saturday!” I commented, sarcastically

" This is nice and all but ł think we need more people?” reasoned Aanya “Hmmm… Ah! I know.
Remember Zahra? let's invite her!” I suggested "Ok sure.” said Aanya. She took out her notebook and
started writing down names of different people.

A moment later, she showed me the list. The names Zahra (School), Sophie (school) Haya (school)
Fluffy (DOG) was written on it. I took the notebook and said “Great! Now we can take a glance at this
every now and then.” “Thank you” said Aanya with a mocking bow as she handed over the list to Sasha
and she agreed with me, especially about Fluffy, my dog.

First, we teleported back to my house and then went to Haya’s house. We Knocked on the door and
waited. After a while Haya’s Mother came to the door and said. “Haya and Sophie will come now.”

We waited excitedly. Soon Haya came to the door, along with Sophie. “Hi!” we all said in unison. “Haya
and Sophie!!! we have news!” I said before she could answer “Come on.

We need to go somewhere private I said pulling her along with

Sophie in my other hand. "Coming! What is it and hi Aanya
and Sasha!” she said all at once.

"Woah woah woah slow down” I said. “Okay here” I said

stopping at the end of the road. “Tell us everything” said
Sophie, putting her head in her hands “Okay, soo…” I
explained all of the scenario and the button and how I found
it

‘’Wow, that is cool. You expect me to come? Wow! I would love

to!” said Haya

"That's great! Now we have a friend called Zahra and she will
be coming on this adventure too." I explained.

How far away is her house? Asked Haya. Oops. I didn’t think
of that. “Hmmm I don't exactly know. I’ve never been to her house
before. I lingered. “SNEHA SERIOUSLY!” shouted Aanya and Sasha
in unison while Haya was trying to process the information

"I’m sorry! Jeez! It wasn't even my fault! It was not me who wrote the list, and besides, we can just say
her name then we'll be at her place.” I said as Aanya turned as red as this! (well, maybe not THAT red).
Then we went to my house and got my dog, Fluffy. I pet him. We needed the cutest dog in the world.

“Hmmmmmmmmm” muttered Aanya

“I guess it could work” agreed Sasha, “I’m in!" said Sophie, punching the air. We all gathered around
the button, I was holding it of course, and we all pushed it together saying Zahra Alkout! The world
around us started to spin and after a few seconds we arrived at Zahra's house.

"See? I told you this would work! Exclaimed Sasha “No you didn't! It was me!” I yelled before sash could
reply, Aanya broke in. ‘’ Okay, break it up, you two!" she said separating by standing in between us
and putting her hands out. ‘’No fighting now, we have work to do. ‘’ Ruff!” agreed Fluffy

I rolled my eyes

“Fine, but tell Sasha it was my idea

 Chapter 2- A Parallel Universe

Umm Guys? "

Haya stuttered. ‘What is it?!” We all yelled back.

Sophie pointed in front of us. We all looked and there was a beautiful mansion with perfect bush and
pretty fountains in the front of the house.

Gleaming quartz pathways were carved into the ground and there was a lot of grass "Wow!! We all
exclaimed in unison. “Woof!” Barked Fluffy as I pet him.

“Look at our clothes!” I said. Looking down, we saw that we had on the most stunning dresses ever
“They’re beautiful!” said Sasha,
spinning round.

I knocked on the door and " Good

evening” I said politely "We would
like to see miss Zahra Alkout"
Excuse me but who are you?" he
asked “We are her friends” We
said “Sure, come in” he said
briefly.

We followed him inside and it was more beautiful than outside!

There was large stained-glass windows and diamond chandeliers. Oh and I’m not to forget, there was
a marble floor.

‘’Ohh, we whispered the but soon let us into a large-room. “Wait here the princess is to come soon’’

As we were waiting, we talked. “What do you think happened? Asked Aanya “I am not sure but if we
asked Zahra’s mom then none of this wouldn’t have happened” said Sasha, gesturing to me.

“What? you don’t like it?” I said, ignoring the look Sasha gives at me.

We saw a big closet on the side of the room. Sophie went to open it. There were old dresses in there!
Beautiful, but not important at the moment. But why not take a look?

Many of them looked old fashioned but some of

them looked fairly new. As I was admiring my
favorite dress, a dark shadow loomed over us.
“AAHH!” Haya screamed.

She was admiring a dress that was now flung

to the floor. She had been sitting on the couch
the whole time, the place where the tiger shaped
shadow came from. Shaking, she looked over
the couch…

“AWWWWWWWH!” Huh?! What was the cause of the shadow? The question
answered itself, when an adorable kitten poked out from behind the curtains. “Wooooooooooooooooff!”
barked Fluffy as he went crazy, thrashing and jumping around.

A few minutes later, we managed to calm him down. The kitten leaped down from a table. It had fur as
white as snow and had a small mark on its forehead which was shaped like a snowflake.

“I want to name her snowflake” I said. “Wow. How creative.” mumbled Sasha, clapping her hands
mockingly. Oh, I get the sarcasm now. “How do you know it’s a girl?” asked Sophie. “Because she told
me.”

Oh, I forgot to mention, at this point of time, everyone got a random superpower, since my crystal broke
(Aanya can read 1 book per second, Sasha can read minds although she doesn’t invade them and
Sophie can draw like an artist). Anyway, back to the stor-

“SNEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! ITS LUNCHTIME!!!!!!!!!!!!” NARRATOR I’M IN THE
MIDDLE OF SOMETHING. “I DON’T CARE COME EAT LUNCH NOW” Oh my gosh. One second…

Okayyy, I’m finally back. Let’s not waste any more time.

“ZAHRAAAAAAA!” we yelled while Haya sat there, looking confused and Sophie stopped in her
tracks.

“Calm down guys, I literally blinked and the next thing I know, I’m wearing this excruciatingly
uncomfortable gown that looks like it has been forged from a cave of sapphires, give me a break” “Oh
my god.

SNEHA WHAT DID YOU DO?” screamed Sasha into my poor, sensitive ear. “NOTHING!” “OH
REALLY, THAT’S WHY A LITERAL PRINCESS IS STANDING IN FRONT OF US ASKING
WHAT IS HAPPENING” yelled Sasha, quite obviously. “WELL, EXCUSSSSE ME. HOW WAS I
SUPPOSED TO KNOW?” “OH MY GOSH CAN YOU STOP ARGUING FOR ONE MINUTE!
ZAHRA IS STANDING THERE WONDERING WHAT THE HE IS GOING ON AND YA’LL ARE
LETTING EACH OTHER HAVE IT!”

Aanya yelled, butting into our heated argument. “She’s right actually,” said Zahra. “Okay, lets tell
Zahra what we came for.

 Chapter 3 -A Meeting with the Professor

After we told Zahra the entire story, we remembered that we had to go see the professor.

We walked over to his lab (which happened to be across the street no lie)

“Why hello girls, what brings you to my lab today?” He asked us upon entry.

“Would you like a sample of my new fly potion? Or my invisible suit?”

“Not today thank you. Can you inspect this button, I found it
when…” and I explained the whole story, yet again. It was
getting longer each time! “Hmmmm… interesting.

Ah! It’s a teleportation button! It is very rare and there is only

three of them in the entire world.

Everyone used to have them to get from place to place but there
was a war between the Martians and the humans so the
Martians took most of them… anyways you can grab them in the next story.”

“Fineeeeeeeeeeeeee.” I said “Woooooooooooooooof…” woofed fluffy.

He gave us the button back as we waved goodbye. We decided to go to India first. We all said “India!”
while Zahra said “gold!” and the room began to spin.

 Chapter 4 -Gindia

(Get it? Gold- India? Oh, forget it.)

“Ummmmm” Zahra stuttered. “Oh my

god. You know what? I’m not even gonna
deal with this now. Let’s just grab the
money falling from the sky and go to
Gucci. I already collected about 3 billion
dollars.”

I said, smirking at Sasha. “Looks like I

won the bettttttt!” I whooped, doing my
amazing victory dance. “Huh” said
Aanya “The bet on who can make more
money in one week. Oh, and can we go
buy some McDon-” “NO ABSOLUTELY
NOT!” screamed Sasha.

“Ok finnnee, but I know the perfect place

to stay for the night. The Park hotel is a good
5-star hotel that we can go to.” I said, skipping along the
pathway. “Oh, and I am very hungry, can we at least go to the mocambo restaurant
pleassseeeeeeeeee” I whined. “Fine.” Sighed Sasha, giving up.

We hailed a cab to go to the restaurant and we ordered some rice and fried chicken for ourselves and
gave the table scraps to fluffy.

After a tiring day, we went back to the park hotel and we worked our way (somewhat) through the hedge
maze. “I think we’re lost,” Sulked Haya for the millionth time. “Don’t worry! I’m sure Sasha’s
‘amazing’ sense of direction will help us” I said sarcastically.

Even I was losing confidence “guys I think this is another dead end.” Said Sasha as we came to a stop.
Oh my god it was so tiring.

After a few hours of following Sasha, I took the lead and found the exit almost instantly! “See! I told
you!” said Sasha. “Well, I found the exit” I said dryly. “I was just about to do that until you stopped me
and went through yourself.”

“Oh, forget it” I said. Even the amazing, argument breaking, never picking a side, Aanya, rolled her
eyes.

We booked a room at the diamond suite. It was like a mansion alone! It had three rooms (a bathroom in
each one), a king-sized bed (and fridge WOOHOOOO!) and a treadmill.

I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the king-sized pillow… and a few seconds later, Sasha woke me up.
Wake up Sneha! This is no time for snoozing!

We have work to do!” said Sasha. We ordered some pizza and we made plans to go to a famous museum
the next day and after that buy some new clothes. After we finished the last shred of pizza, we fell
asleep.

The next morning, Sasha woke all the girls up and together they tried to wake me up, but failed. “I
know!” Aanya announced. “SANDWICHES!” she yelled and I woke up with a start.

“WHERE!?” I screamed, falling off the bed. “Oof” I said from the floor. “This bed is high!” everyone
laughed at my act.

First, we went to a clothing store and bought some new dresses for ourselves.

We went to the nearest

Gucci, about 2 miles
away and ran around
like maniacs! In the
shop, there were many
things to choose from.

For example clothes,

and footwear! I almost
trampled over Sasha,
grabbing a diamond
purse.

After we were done shopping, we went to a museum. It had dinosaur bones, two headed animals, incased
arctic animals, conjoined twin creatures and more! “Wow!” I exclaimed.

The museum was a tall, granite building with stained glass windows and platforms which held the
exhibits.

In the first exhibit, we saw dinosaur bones! There was a triceratops and a colossal tyrannosaurus rex in
the center of the room.

In the second exhibit with a lovely painting of an Indian goddess, ancient with age and dust by M. F.
Hussain.

After a long
day of
museums and
shopping, I
flopped onto the
bed and fell
asleep… only to
be woken up
once again by
laughter.

Why was I on
the floor?
“Sneha!”
laughed Sophie.
“Oh my god
Aanya can you
explain to her
what happened!”
She wheezed.
“Okay so you fell asleep
in the air and bounced off the bed and
onto the floor!” she giggled.

“How did you not wake up!” Sasha was practically crying with laughter.
Fluffy sniffed me “Aroo?” he turned his head.

“Come on guys” I said, jumping into action. “Let’s get ready for our snow destination!”

After we packed a backpack with essentials, we pressed to spin the button and said “ice age!” and once
again, the room started to rotate.

 Chapter 5- The Ice Age

After a few seconds, we opened our eyes and immediately felt freezing cold. “Girls look!” yelled Aanya
suddenly. We turned to see an enormous woolly mammoth staring back at us!

In case you don’t know what a wooly

mammoth is, they are like small
elephants with brown fur and
curvier tusks. They lived in the
arctic in the ice age but they went
extinct because humans hunted
them down for their fur and
tusks.

I walked slowly towards it, trying

not to scare it away. “Umm
Sneha, I don’t think that’s a good idea.” Whispered aanya from behind me. “Just trust me.” I whispered,
barely tilting my head. “I know how to deal with animals.” I reached out my hand towards the
mammoth’s long trunk and touched its soft, silky fur. It cooed at me (I think it purred a little!) “Hoo!”
it was definitely a girl. “I’m going to name her brownie!” I declared.

We rode on her back towards a cave. We parked her outside and we sat inside the cave. Just then, a strong
wind started outside!

There was definitely a blizzard coming. “How are we going to just sit in a dark cave for the next few
hours with no Cheetos!” I yelled with realization.

Sasha rolled her eyes. “Just make a fire, obviously.” She said confidently. “And HOW exactly are we
going to do that?” I asked, smugly. “Rubbing two stones together of course.” “Then do it” I said dryly.
She smirked and she rubbed two stones together.

About 20 minutes later,

Sasha was sweating trying to make a fire. I pushed her out of the way, grabbed the two stones spread
sticks on the ground. I banged the stones together. I put the spark on the wood and there! A fire!

Sasha blushed like a tomato.

Sasha tried to fix her reputation. “You could have shone your glasses up on the sun and made a fire.” “I
don’t see a sun.” I said bluntly. “Even if there was one, a. you have your own glasses b. do you know
how long that takes?” I asked. “1 minute?” Sasha offered.

“Close. Just, an hour or two.” I wheezed. “Ha!” laughed aanya “that was a good one.” Giggled Zahra
under her breath. Sasha became the ultimate double tomato.

We decided to tell scary stories since it was dark outside.

“Once…” I started “oh no please don’t Sneha your stories are actually terrifying” said Sasha, for once
not sarcastically. “There were 5 girls living in the arctic. They were lost. They didn’t have any Wi-Fi,
food or water.

They travelled for 5 hours and a giant, shadowy creature ate one of them…” “AHHHHHHHH!” screamed
everyone. “What was it?” asked aanya. Fluffy covered his eyes with his paws. “I’m getting to that. They
screamed and ran away.

The creature stomped off but said ‘this is MY territory and I will be back one day to claim it. It had
giant black eyes, brown fur and…” “and….” aanya braced herself. “EARS!” everyone screamed… until
they realized what I said. “ha-ha very funny.” Said Haya standing up.

The next thing I knew, everyone was screaming since a creature with giant black eyes, brown fur and
worst of all… EARS! The creature from my story!

I slapped my forehead. “Guys that’s literally just brownie.” I rolled my eyes as we settled back down.
“Who want to hear another story!” I offered. “NO ONE!” “jeez it was a question” I said as we snuggled
into our sleeping bags.

The next morning, we woke up and rode on brownie again. We were travelling for a while and we saw
some silhouettes shaped like tigers, only they had giant teeth.

They were Sabre toothed tigers! Just when they were about to attack us, brownie made the loudest sound
I have ever heard in my life! The sabers whimpered and ran away. “Good girl brownie!” I said. We started
running up a mountain. We knew what we had to do. We ran up the mountain and sat on a pile of
snow.

“Huh.” Said Sophie. “what’s wrong?” I asked. “This snow is really soft, softer than usual.” Suddenly,
the snow started to make a growling noise and started to shake. We fell off and shuffled away. “POLAR
BEAR!” I screamed as we ran. We created a human chain. “should I?” I asked. Aanya nodded. I pressed
the button.

 Chapter 6-The Power of the Skies

When the bright light faded, I found myself on a majestic eagle. It was 10 times the size of a normal
one. I noticed that my clothes had also
changed.

I was wearing a shoulder less yellow top

with ocean blue jeans. Suddenly, a
giant, cloud appeared in front of me I
braced for impact.

After a few seconds, I heard Sasha

yelling “SNEHA ARE YOU ASLEEP!?” I woke up with a jolt and saw everyone else
was on eagles too. Just then, I noticed fluffy was sitting behind me playing with his stuffed toy.

I called out to her saying, “No I am not.”

Then soon added “Where are we anyway?”
while flying towards them.

“I’m pretty sure we’re in the sky, I mean

what else is blue with fluff on it?” “Good
point.” I agreed as I reached her.

We explored the sky and flew around our

eagles until we saw this colorful cloud. I
flew towards it, signaling to the others to
follow me

I led the way as we flew towards the cloud. as we got closer; we saw that they were rainbow men (basically
rainbows shaped like men) they were digging something.

They were digging out clumps of cloud and were carving them out into little shapes. After each little
carving was made, the put them in buckets and after each one was full, they kept them on shelves.

On a separate cloud, they were filling buckets with water and delicately dropped them down on the
land. We realized that they were controlling the weather and we needed to fly away. It was too late.
Fluffy had already started barking at them.

The rainbow men turned to look at us as we flew away as fast as possible. They got on their own eagles
and started chasing us.

Suddenly, my eagle took a sharp turn and I fell off. Aanya reached her hand out and I swung at it. I
missed by a centimeter. “SNEHA!” she yelled. Ok guys I’m not joking it was fun! “WOOOOHOOOOO”
I yelled. The rainbow men gave out a shrill whistle and an eagle swooped in out of nowhere and I landed

on it. It flew to a cloud and dropped me on it

“Aww.” I said. “Are you serious?! You could have died.” Shouted Sasha. “Well, it was fun.” I said
abruptly. I paused “Thank you.” I said to the rainbow men.

Two minutes later, we found a nice fluffy cloud to stay for the night.

Basically, we were in a parallel universe since we didn’t say anything when we pushed the button. We
had to stay there for a day!

I woke up before I realized I fell asleep, “SNEHA WAKE UP!” yelled Sasha. “fine” I said. “Only on one
condition, we go skydiving!” “No just no.” she said. “Fine.” I said, falling back into my nap.

Again, I was rudely interrupted. “Fine! She yelled at me. The rainbow men gave us six parachutes.
“Make sure not to push the red button!” said one of them.

‘I am definitely going to push it!” I thought. I was the last one to jump. I aimed for the red button and
pulled the string. “NOOOO!” yelled the girls. I heard Sasha say, “I knew it.”

I giggled as I launched myself towards the red button. We all shot back up into space.
“WHOOOOOHOOO!” I yelled. Surprisingly, there was very fresh air!

When we finally fell back onto the cloud, I said “let’s do that again!” “NO!” screamed Sasha as I quickly
went to sleep.

 Chapter 7- Jurassic World

When I woke up, I saw the most

enormous creature ever! It was
definitely a t-rex!

I looked down to see that I was wearing

leopard skin and no shoes. I hid behind
a tree and found Aanya and Sasha
there.

“Guys.” I hissed “where are the others?”

“If we knew we would be with them.”
Sasha shot back. “Well, I-” “Oh stop it
you two! Now’s not the time!” “Wait a
minute… I fell asleep in the sky, how
are we here?” I asked.

“Well… SOMEONE pushed the button

while you were asleep.” Said Sasha
grabbing aanya by the shoulders.

She grinned.

“Hahahahhahahaahahahahahahaha!”

I laughed. Tears rolled down my cheeks. “STOP IT NOW!” Sasha yelled. She scowled at me and went
behind a different tree. “Oh, by the way, where’s-” “AAAHH!” screamed Sasha, interrupting me.

Fluffy emerged from behind a tree with Sasha on his back. I shook her awake.

 “What scared her?” asked
aanya. “Maybe fluffy came
out of-” “ROARRRR!”
“Nowhere.” I finished my
sentence.

We decided to peek out from

the tree and saw Sophie,
Haya, Zahra and a t-rex
there. We hopped on the t-rex
and I stroked its head. We
named it Rexy.

“WOAH!” I yelled. We were

on Rexy’s back. We rode
him all around the place.
There were animals, plants, mountains, grasslands, everything!

At the end of the day, we got off Rexy and linked arms. We didn’t stand a chance here. Anyways
after the sky I was planning to go home. “LET’S GO HOME!!!” we all screamed at the top of our
lungs.

 Prologue- Back Home

“PHEWWWWW”

I sighed as we landed in the professor’s lab. “We can go on the Martian trip another day, but now, lets
get some sleep!” I heard some “I agree” and “yes!” and even yawns from the pile of Aanya and Sasha.

That’s the story of our adventure. Bye!
