October 10 th, is known as the World
Mental Health Day. On this day it is vital
to remind our students that it is
necessary to take care after our mental
health, its improvement and prevention.
This day was marked at Kalarija
gymnasium not only by Erasmus+ group,
but also by a non formal club.
Erasmus + students, mostly
class 7b, in their English
classes learned how to indicate
different emotions, and were
presented with tips that teach
to control personal well being.
Students worked in groups and discussed what they could control and
what things were out of their control zone. The illustration of this activity
is in jigsaw pieces; they wrote that students could control their thoughts,
actions, decisions, but hardly they can affect actions of others.

Other students tought our school

community to measure their well
being with a mood-meter. It is great
that the majority of students and
teachers were on a high note on that
day. Colourful balloons suggest tips
how to feel better in different
situations.
