Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Club Volleyball - Troy, MI
▪ I play club volleyball for Michigan Elite Volleyball Academy and school volleyball for Troy Athens. I have been a
Varsity player for [one] year and a junior varsity player and captain for 2 years. Being a student athlete has honed
my leadership and teamwork skills, while simultaneously teaching me how to manage my time efficiently.

Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) - Troy, MI
▪ Improved (and currently improving) my knowledge of the medical field by participating in events where I
demonstrate my leadership and understanding of medicine.

Hospice Volunteer - September 2021 to Present

The Care Team Home Health and Hospice - Farmington Hills, MI
▪ Visit hospice patients with Alzheimer's weekly and devote my time to providing care and comfort. I typically
arrange simple activities to do with them such as painting, listening to music, and looking through photo albums.

▪ Use my leadership, communication, compassion, and people skills to volunteer in various areas around my
community. Being a member recognizes the excellence that I have demonstrated in areas of both academics and

▪ Assist multiple parents by watching and taking care of their children when they need the help. I prepare meals for
the kids, play games and read books to keep them entertained, while making sure to clean the house prior to the
parents' arrival.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
▪ I won first place at the 2020 and 2021 HOSA Regionals competition for my Health Career Photography and Job
Seeking Skills events.
▪ Maintained all A's from the start of middle school, and currently have a 4.3 GPA in high school.
▪ I have received the scholar athlete award every year since 7th grade.
▪ I have been on the Honor Roll every year since 6th grade.

▪ I can fluently speak, read, and write in Romanian since it is my first language.
▪ Traveling every year to Romania and other parts of Europe has provided me tremendous exposure to diverse
