Maglalatik – Originated in Biñan, Laguna
Singkil – Originated in Lake Lanao

Cariñosa – Originated in Panay Island


Sayaw sa Bangko – Originated in Pangasinan
Pandanggo sa Ilaw – Originated in Lubang
Island, Mindoro
Kuratsa – Originated in Samar Island
You can watch the following folk dances in single
mode. Please prepare yourself to choose one folk
dance to interpret in the performance output. See
SLM#4 to check it out. You can also search in
YouTuube the famous folk dances in the Philippines.
Folk dance developed by people that reflect the
life of the people of a certain country or region.
REMEMBER The cultural dances in the Philippines evolved
from different regions which are distinct from one
another as they are affected by religion and
culture.

can search on the internet. Write your answers
on a notebook or a piece of paper and upload
them to Google Classroom.
