any state flying to Coimbatore must carry a negative RT-PCR test report 72 hours before departure. Without a valid test,
they will have to undergo a test on arrival in Coimbatore. On-arrival test: Symptomatic travellers from other states and union
territories must undergo a test on arrival. If they test positive and symptomatic, they will be taken to the hospital for isolation.
If negative and asymptomatic, they must self-monitor their health for 14 days. If negative and symptomatic, they will be
taken to the hospital for isolation and further treatment. On-arrival test: Symptomatic travellers from other states and union
territories must undergo a test on arrival: If they test positive and symptomatic, they will be taken to the hospital for isolation,
if negative and asymptomatic, they must self-monitor their health for 14 days and if negative and symptomatic, they will be
taken to the hospital for isolation and further treatment.Quarantine rules: All travellers from Maharashtra and Kerala must
home quarantine for 7 days and self-monitor their health for 7 days after arrival. 14 days of self-monitoring for all travellers
arriving into Tamil Nadu from other states/UT. Exemption: Business travellers visiting Tamil Nadu for a short stay of 72
hours from other states are exempted from home quarantine, in such cases, the individual shall furnish a valid return
document. However, this exemption is not applicable for those travelling to Coimbatore. Symptomatic travellers will be
required to go for institutional quarantine till the time COVID test results are available, at the discretion of health officials.
