My name is Miguel Perez Sevilla I am 21 years old, I am a student of the engineering career in

automotive systems, my favorite color is blue, my hobbies are playing video games, listening to
music and assembling things. My favorite food is tacos.

I'm going to talk about a major festival in Mexico that I went to once and found it to be an
interesting experience. The festival is full of joy, colors, food and culture.

When is the festival?

This festival is celebrated from the first Monday after July 16 th.

Activities

It begins with the presentation of the traditional dances of the region, shows and cultural and
sporting events.

The women of the city also carry baskets of flowers, and they go in the company of each of the
seven participating regions: Los Valles Centrales, La Sierra Juárez, La Cañada, Tuxtepec, La
Mixteca, Istmo de Tehuantepec y La Costa and they are playing music from their region.

Why is it interesting?

Here you can see shows, songs, music, dances, various typical costumes, and the beautiful view on
El Cerro del Fortín.

I have only been once and I would like to go again when possible, since it is expensive for
accommodation, food and all the souvenirs you can buy.
