COLOR PROFILE #1: NEUTRALS

Colors: Black, white, grey, brown, navy, olive

Key Points: Neutral colors are darker and not

overpowering. Easily mix together, and are a great
“backdrop” for more colorful or patterned pieces.

AMERICANA
Colors: Black, white, grey, brown, navy, olive + lighter
(denim) blue, red

Key Points: Americana color profile stirs up images of

classic americana: blue denim, brown, army green, 1950’s
military, Steve McQueen. It’s a neutral color palette with the
addition of lighter blues and red.

COLOR PROFILE #3: ALL BLACK
Colors: Black

Key Points: This profile is actually called “monochromatic”,

when you dress almost exclusively in one color. The most
common one you’ll see is “All Black”. Mix textures (knit and
leather items) as well as different shades of black to prevent
an outfit from looking “flat”

 COLOR PROFILE #4: ROMANTIC
Colors: Black, white, grey, brown, navy, burgundy, camel
(light brown)

Key Points: A neutral color palette with the important

addition of camel (light, yellowy brown) and burgundy (also
called maroon or bordeaux). It’s a “warm”, less intense red.
In combination of browns, grey, black and navy, the color
profile feels very romantic. This is my personal favorite color
profile.
