Introduction
Feminist literature is defined as fiction, nonfiction, drama, or poetry that
promotes feminist aims of defining, creating, and protecting equal civil,
political, economic, and social rights for women. It frequently presents
women's roles as unequal to those of males, notably in terms of position,
privilege, and power, and it typically paints the repercussions to women,
men, families, communities, and society as unfavorable. In the broadest
sense, "Feminist Literature" is a reflection of feminism's philosophy: that
women are equal to men. However, it is much more challenging,
especially for women, who may show s dancing for other women who do
not agree with their vision of bal "feminist" and "feminine.“
This way the once indistinguishable fields of literature and language
studies were dissociated and the role of literature in language teaching
with its emphasis on form and correctness at the time was put under a
question mark for a number of reasons which were to sojourn the
mysterious land of ELT for a matter of a century. McKay (1982) contends
"it is easy to view any attention to literature as unnecessary"
