AIRTRONIG for ail repair stages. You may have to walt
for the device to cool down.

Removing the contro! unit
Remove the AIRTRONIC cover
Unscrew fastening screm, press retaining brackets together, it
fut ECU. Unclip the lines from the holder at the control unit
(observe the postions ofthe lines). Remove the bushing (lower
part) from the outer case. Disconnect the contol unit from the
Controller. Te ECU can now be removed,
Note: When reassembling tne ECU, ensure thatthe lines are
correctly clipped in the holder of the ECU, and thatthe

Note: Remove power from the hoator prior to any disa-
'ssembly by unplugging main connection oF removing

If gasket was removed during cisassembiy, replace it
when reassembling.
Clean all parts bofore reassembly and check for any
signs of damage, replace where necessary.

Rlomave the AIRTRONIC cover.
+ Flomove the ECU,
Disconnect the connector of the glow pin cable harness from
the ECU.
Remove tne rubber grommet and use the special tol to unscrew
the glow pin.
