You are on page 1of 1

Dear students,

Thank you for responding so promptly to my call with the names of the students forming your
groups.

In what follows I will explain to you your task.

1. From the book Aspects of Meaning Making Through Translation (2021) you will read one
Chapter [look at the Documents Area underTake-Away Assignment_2022 to find the
Chapter allocated to your group].

2. When you have read the Chapter you were allocated, you will have to form 6-8 Questions
per group/chapter and provide an answer for each one of them as they are explained in
the relevant Chapter 1 [each group member should think of two (2) questions].
IMPORTANT NOTE: Your answer to the meaningful questions you will pose is not going to
be copied verbatim from the original text. Instead, you will have to paraphrase the
answer using your own writing style as if you were explaining this to a person who is not
familiar with the subject. Each answer should be around 100-150 words long.

3. Once you have collaborated with the members of your group and have agreed on
everything, ONLY ONE document will be uploaded on the e-class platform with your
answers on behalf of everyone in the group. In the title of your document please indicate
the Chapter you worked on [e.g. CHAPTER 4_SURNAME] and inside the document
mention once again the names of your classmates with whom you worked.

4. Remember that all group members will get the same grade.

5. The deadline for submitting the Assignment is Monday, 2nd May, 2022 at 23:55.

I hope everything is clear and I wish you good luck!

Happy Easter!

Kind regards,
D. Korda
