Issue Identification and Reasons for Choice

The uncontrolled spread of inaccurate information has taken a new form in the digital era
and has created vexing challenges for democracy and journalism. Misinformation can be
defined as information that is not supported by clear evidence and expert opinion. I chose this
issues that is being rampant nowadays because it truly creates chaos on the part of the
knowledge seekers for the current and future generations. It is timely because it can be
applicable on the proper choice of our national leaders in support for concern to the economic
growth and recovery of our very own country after this pandemic.
