Cases to bear in mind in order to achieve the overall B2 result:

 CASE 1: HLS: 43+ points / Schreiben: 15+ points / Sprechen: 75+ points

 CASE 2: HLS: 43+ points / Schreiben: 7+ points / Sprechen: 75+ points

 CASE 3: HLS: 27+ points / Schreiben: 15+ points / Sprechen: 75+ points

**It would be better to focus more on Sprechen and Schreiben rather than Hӧren, Lesen

and Sprachbausteine.

Tips for Sprechen

Know the Criteria of the Task:

1. Task accomplishment

 Can describe a picture clearly and in detail and comment on the situation

presented.

 Can report his own experiences clearly and in detail.

 Can express his/her own opinions clearly and precisely.

 Can deliver a clear, prepared presentation, highlighting key points and providing

relevant supporting details.

 Can answer questions spontaneously and express his/her own thoughts clearly

and precisely.

 Can express his/her thoughts and opinions precisely, argue convincingly and

react to complex arguments of others.

2. Pronunciation/Intonation – has acquired a clear, natural Intonation, even if sometimes

a foreign accent is obvious.

3. Fluency – can communicate so spontaneously and fluently that a normal conversation

with a native speaker is possible without burdening the other side. There are hardly any

noticeable long pauses.

4. Correctness – shows a good mastery of Grammar. Don’t make mistakes that can lead to

misunderstandings. Minor errors in sentence structure may occur, but can often be

corrected in retrospect.

5. Vocabulary – has a sufficiently broad range of linguistic means to express clear

descriptions and points of view on general topics. Can vary formulations and uses some

complex sentence structures. Gaps in basic, professional and technical vocabulary can

lead to paraphrases without hindering communication
