PROPOSAL MATRIX ACIDIZING HCl 15%
WELL: BEL#039
ABC-123 is a production well at Interval perforation: lap. R5 (1486 - 1489,5 mMD). This well is proposed to be stimulated
with Acidizing (HCl 15%) to restore formation conductivity by dissolving carbonate-based material near wellbore. This
proposal Matrix Acidizing treatment design using 110 GPF, so that damage can be removed in 7,0 ft radial penetration
from the wellbore.

5 JOB PROCEDURE
#REF!
PRE JOB:
1 Use appropriate HSE: APD, Bring face wash, respiratory mask, apron for crew mixing acid, etc.
2 RIH 2,875" tubing with packer set at 1466 m and EOS at 1476 m.
3 Transfer to BBP tank Fresh Water 28 bbl: 8 bbl for Pre Flush
for Pickle
5 bbl
15 bbl to Acid Tank - for Acid Treatment
4 Transfer to BBP tank Formation Water min. 71 bbl to water tank.
EQUIPMENT PREPARATION:
1 Rig up BBP pumping unit.
2 PJSM and review the job procedure. Ensure all crew wear PPE. Prepare Injectivity Rate Test
3 Test BBP line to 2500 psi for 5 minutes, ensure there's no leaking, bleed off press 0 psi.
TUBING PICKLE:
1 Mix & pump 7 bbl tubing pickle and displace with 21 bbl formation water.
2 Reverse out circulation pickle by Rig pump 2x vol string (56 bbl) via annulus or until clean pH neutral.
INJECTIVITY TEST:
1 Set packer test from annulus 300-500 psi, conduct injectivity test as schedule below with formation water.

- Mixing acid treatment after injectivity test confirmed & discussed with company representative.
- Frac pressure shall obtain to know the maximum rate-pressure can be applied on this well.
- If no rate or tight formation after injectivity test; unset packer, mix & drop 8 bbl acid treatment & displace as vol tbg, soak for 30 mins. Continue to perform injectivity
test, any increasing on rate, mixing the remaining acid.
- Add amount of Corrosion Inhibitor to acid tank that already filled with water and agitate/mix with air or circulation. Add other additives at this time.
- Acid solution need thoroughly mixed to assure uniform treatments, otherwise the acid strength can vary in the mixture.
- Pumping Pressure is not allow exceeding the test line.
7 Stop pump, bleed off pressure & R/D BBP equipment and job completed.
POST JOB:
1 Clean up all unit from acid (Pumping Unit, Lines, Tanks, etc) by flushing with fresh water + soda ash
2 Housekeeping before leaving location.
6 EQUIPMENT USED
7 CONTIGENCY PLAN
IF Leaking on lines / pump 1. Maximun treating pressure not exceed test line pressure
unit : 2. Always fill up displacement tank with water
3. Stop pump acid, switch to pump clean water at displacement tank, stop pump, close master valve at rig floor, bleed off
pressure into secure area/pit tank until no more fluid flowing through the line, open/fix the leaking part
4. Pour the leaking area with water & Soda Ash
5. If acid still in the tubing/wellbore when the pumping stopped, reverse out using rig pump
6. If acid already pumped into formation, using rig pump, pump brine water at minimum volume 1/2 from acid that already
pumped into formation

10 PRODUCT INFO :
• Corrosion Inhibitor BCI-05 A hydrochloric acid inhibitor. It is effective in all concentrations of hydrochloric acid and can be used also in
formulations which combine hydrochloric acid with others, such as acetic, formic or hydrofluoric acid.
• Iron Control BIC-30 : Function to prevent iron precipitation, with functions as chelating agents which form stable water-soluble
complexes with iron. By complexion the iron, its activities are reduced and it is prevented from reacting as
normally expected.
• Mutual Solvent BMS-50 : EGMBE (ethylene glycol monobutyl ether), that is soluble in both hydrocarbon and aqueous solutions. Used
in acid stimulation as a surface tension reducer and water wetting agent. It also helps prevent excessive
• Nonionic Surfactant BSU-12N : Used in acid or water-based stimulation fluids to prevent the formation of emulsions and it has capability to
water-wet limestone formations as well.
• Pottasium Salt (KCl) BAA-12 The base salt for completion fluid also to prevent swelling clay for sensitive formation.
• Hydrochloric Acid HCl 32% Inorganic acid, to dissolve carbonate based material.
