ACTIVITY 3-AUDT2

1. Database Management
- Data sharing and data independence are two fundamental properties of
databases. Users and applications exchange data, but data independence means
that data is held independently of applications. These properties facilitate the
implementation of information systems while also raising security problems. To
implement the database, the database includes features such as a data dictionary
and a database administrator. A database management system also includes
tools for dealing with the issues of data sharing and data independence. Every
database has the ability to integrate user identification and authentication as well
as authorization procedures.

2. Conversion Audit
- In India, the transition to a digital environment is accelerating. The
Information Technology Act of 2000, as well as orders from the Chief Vigilance
Commissioner to the banking sector to computerize 100 percent of their activity,
has hastened the process. Any software project requires data conversion.
Converting from one database to another and from one application to another
necessitates a high level of technological expertise. A conversion audit is carried
out to ensure that the conversion is accurate.
