This to report that at the request of M/s ACC LIMITED. We have attended in the below mentioned
rake for the purpose of assessment of quantity upon loading and carried out sampling for the
determination of TM, IM, GCV at New Mangalore Port. Our findings are as follows:

Samples were drawn during the course of loading into the wagons. Gross samples collected was
systematically crushed, reduced and final composite samples were prepared and sealed with SGS
Numbered plastic strip seals. One composite sample was forwarded to our in house laboratory and analyzed
as per ASTM Standards, the results obtained are as follows:

THE OBSERVATIONS DURING RAKE LOADING ARE AS FOLLOWS:

1) The wagons are randomly checked for visual contamination, some of the wagons found with little
amount of previous rake cargo.
2) Cargo was found dumped on rake siding and some cargo was in wet condition while rake loading
time.
3) Cargo loaded in wagons at NMPT – Inside Port, Rake siding.
4) After completion of the wagons loading cargo covered with tarpaulin.
5) Due to under maintenance of railway weighbridge, wagons are not weighed the cargo at railway
weighbridge.
6) As declared by Railway receipt no. 262000606, 58 boxes chargeable quantity is 3944.00t.
