Mr. Kaczanowski fulfilled his internship in my eighth grade U.S. History class. During his time
we focused on the delivery of curriculum and instructional practices. In addition to
instructional practices, the emphasis was on student engagement through inquiry. Part of the
student teaching experience I find most important is assessing the candidate’s receptiveness
to critical feedback. I was able to work with Mr. Kaczanowski during his internship experience
provided detailed feedback in handling a variety of situations. When receiving feedback from
me as his coach, Mr. Kaczanowski was receptive and worked to improve his lesson content
and instructional approach with students.
It is apparent that Mr. Kaczanowski has a love for learning. He brings many experiences to
the classroom. He is reflective and continuously modifies his lessons to improve student
engagement and understanding.
Mr. Kaczanowski is always willing to help, no matter the task. He was very dependable,
always arriving early and staying until “the job was done.” His feedback to students was
prompt and he gave everyone the opportunity to revise their work based on the feedback
provided.
Sincerely,
Ginnie Holloway
