Data encryption

All encrypted values are encrypted using OpenSSL and the AES-256-CBC cipher. Furthermore, all
encrypted values are signed with a message authentication code (MAC). The integrated message
authentication code will prevent the decryption of any values that have been tampered with by malicious
users.
Incase of information or data transfer between the merchant website and our payment gateway, all
information will be encrypted and decrypted using 32 length character.
Secure Socket Layer (SSL)
This standard security protocol establishes an encrypted channel to allow for the safe transfer of private
data over public channels, such as between a web server and a browser and this is a requirement for a
merchant website in order to integrate their system with our payment gateway.
