CHOCOLATE REVEL BARS

Ingredients:
For the bottom layer:
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups brown sugar
2 pcs eggs
2 tsp vanilla
3 cups oats
2½ cups All purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
For the top layer
⅓ cup chopped walnuts
400 g can condensed milk
1½ cups chocolate chips
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
1. In a mixing bowl, combine butter and sugar together, mix in high speed until
light and fluffy.
2. Add the eggs and vanilla, mix further in low speed. Set aside.
3. In a separate bowl combine all the remaining bottom layer ingredients.
Combine this with the butter mixture until well incorporated. Set aside.
4. Place saucepan over low heat, pour condensed milk, chocolate chips, butter and
salt. Mix well and cook until smooth.
5. Add the walnuts and vanilla then turn the heat off.
6. Place ⅔ of the oat mixture on a lightly greased 9 x 13 pan or equivalent.
7. Spread condensed milk mixture on top then with the remaining oat mixture.
8. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes. Remove from oven, let it cool
before serving.
