1] Abstract
The paper highlights the importance of the e-government initiative to support the supply
chain integration among Small and Medium Size Enterprises (SMEs). It has been reported
that organisations need to integrate their Information Technology (IT) infrastructures to
support the integration of their supply chains to increase their efficiency. However, the
current research suggests that Small and Medium Size Enterprises (SMEs), due to their lack
of expertise and financial resources to invest in the necessary technologies, seem to need
further support from the government in their efforts to adopt IT. Therefore, the role of the
government is fundamental in supporting them to adopt supply chain management
technologies,
especially in geographical contexts such as this of Taiwan. A case study is therefore carried
out in this paper to study an initiative taken in Taiwan by the government in order to help
the supply chain integration of Taiwanese IT manufacturing companies. The findings suggest
that the adoption of IT by SMEs (i.e. suppliers) is very much dependent on external forces
(resource-dependency view), thus the government has a very important role to play when it
comes to supporting SMEs to join supply chain networks. In doing so, this research provides
a broader understanding of the phenomenon of e-government initiatives to support supply
chain integration in practice.

2] Abstract: This paper reveals the importance of ecommerce in Indian economy. As we all
know India is among the fastest growing economy of the world , thus it is very much
important to have government intervention and huge investment inflow in form of Foreign
direct investment in large economy like India to stabilise and increase the growth of
ecommerce industry in the economy. In India with the digital penetration has increased
significantly, according to statistical data internet use has increased to 429.23 million user in
India and is expected to reach around 830m by year 2021 .“There has been significant rise of
e commerce in India, as India’s internet economy is 125 billion dollar in 2017. In this paper
we will look towards the role of government in ecommerce industry and also look towards
the various barriers of e commerce in Indian aspects.“In this research paper we will talk
mainly about B2C Ecommerce and its percentage of gross domestic product in Indian
economy. we will also talked about entrepreneurs roles and decreasing value of ease of
doing business in India as India in 2017 ranked in 100th position from 132th position out of
190 countries in 2008” . For a country such as India, one of the most important advantages
of e-commerce is its potential to help developing rural areas to leap-frog into the knowledge
paradigm. “E- Commerce is great platform not only to develop infrastructure but also
increase employment rates in India and thus overall impact in increasing economic and
social growth in Indian economy.

3 Abstract—In this digital world, research interest is being increased on e-governance,
existing research isn’t adequately address key issues regarding the development,
implementation and integration of the e-governance projects. The delivering of e-services to
the citizens at their door is the primary function of government. The Maharashtra state is
the pioneer in citizen centric e- governance initiatives like Common Service Centre (Maha e-
Seva, SETU), Public Distribution System (PDS), Land Record (Bhoomi Abhilekh) etc. The
present research is efforts to identify and establish linkages between the factors responsible
for creating a suitable environment for effective implementation of e- governance services
in government offices. The objective of the present research paper is to establish the
background for the development of a conceptual framework of e-governance initiatives.
Based on the existing literature review the paper provides an analysis of existing empirical
findings and conceptual perspectives related to e-governance initiatives in Satara District,
Maharashtra, India.

4] This paper discusses the global developments in e-commerce and opportunities for India.
It discusses the IT revolution, impact of E-Commerce and potential gains India can make in
the global business. E-commerce is a fast moving area internationally in terms of
opportunities and technologies. It is predominantly lead by industry and user sector with
government playing a catalytic role providing proactive support and facilitating critical
inputs for growth. India is known to have missed Industrial Revolution of free market
economies of the 1970's and 1980's. This paper discusses the challenges that India needs to
address to be competitive in the area of e-commerce. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT

5] With the tremendous growth of information communication technology in India, the

government has introduced several information technology-based reforms in processes and
at times in policies. These reforms are driven mostly with a view to allow the governmental
services to be widely realised in a populous country like India. The purpose of this paper is
to discuss the categorisation of digitisation of governmental services in India, to explain one
service from each category and provide a critical analysis of the same. The paper
systematically studies the growth of ICT and e-governance initiatives in India subsequently it
explains one exemplar initiative from each category and offers a primary critique on the
same. The paper reports that though the vision of e-governance initiatives offered by the
Indian Government is appreciable but the implementation has several challenges, the same
are stated in the critique. The paper adds original value as it studies in detail the growth of
ICT and e-governance initiatives in India and offers a primary critique on the same.

6] So far, empirically grounded studies, which compare the phenomena of e-Commerce and
e-Government, have been in short supply. However, such studies it has been argued would
most likely deepen the understanding of the sector-specific similarities and differences
leading to potential cross-fertilization between the two sectors as well as to the
establishment of performance measures and success criteria. This paper reports on the
findings of an empirical research pilot, which is the first in a series of planned exploratory
and theory-testing studies on the subject.

7]. Supply chains in India and other developing countries are typically long and fragmented,
involving multiple small-holder producers delivering produce to collectors. Product then
moves to traders and wholesalers and possibly several layers of retail distribution. Primary
and secondary food processing may also occur, often at a small to medium enterprise scale.
These chains are characterised by multiple product handling steps, poor information flows
and a predominance of spot transactions over longer-term buyer– seller relation-ships. The
Government of India is taking big initiative to aware rural people to use information
technology to get information about new development in biotechnology, government
policies and agro process Industries. Government is making IT infrastructure around the
rural India for more and more reach to the villagers. The public private partnership (PPP) in
Agriculture, which the State Government has launched under the Central initiative of farm
extension project and with the launch of ATMA (Agriculture Technology Management
Agency) will tremendously boost up the speed of farm growth in UP. The paper discusses
the trade and technology integration and the role of IT/ IS in SCM through a case of
implementation of ERP in Agriculture sector in India.

8]. E-commerce is playing one of the vital role in business options and facilitate to
explore in the future. E-commerce is concerning the paradigm shift in the business world
for trading. Forecast of E-commerce is showing extraordinary prospects in business growth
of
Indian Economy. The customers base of online shopping is augmented by using internet of
things (IOT) and mobile phone applications. Consequently the Indian e-commerce business
has seen exciting growth in since from few years. India has an internet users base of about
475 million as of July 2019, about 40% of the population. This number is expected to be 627
million by the end of 2019. Despite being the second-largest userbase in world, only behind
China (650 million, 48% of population), the penetration of e-commerce is low compared to
markets like the United States (266 million, 84%), or France (54 M, 81%), but is growing,
adding around 6 million new entrants every month. The industry consensus is that growth
is at an inflection point. In India, cash on delivery is the most preferred payment method,
accumulating 75% of the e-retail activities. Demand for international consumer products
(including long-tail items) is growing faster than in-country supply from authorised
distributors and e-commerce offerings. In 2017, the largest e-commerce companies in India
were Flipkart, Amazon, Myntra, Paytm, and Snapdeal. In 2018, Amazon beat Flipkart and
was recorded the biggest ecommerce in india in terms of revenue. It taking into
consideration India’s demographic payment system and increasing internet accessibility, the
E-commerce business is growing up to greater heights. However, India’s overall retail
opportunity is
substantial, the online business is plagued with some critical challenges. Hence in attending
current study has been carried out to depict the present condition and the future
prospective
of e-commerce business in India. It facilitates to analyze the present trends, explore the
challenges and opportunities of e-commerce business in India. Growth of e-commerce
trends
is becoming more popular day by day as per the market demand. This is actually carrying us
to the new innovative world which eventually saves lot of time and money as well because
of the attractive features provided by the online market. This paper gives an overview of the
applications and future of e-commerce and discusses the various factors that are important
for the growth of Ecommerce in India

9] Several factors like returns, undelivered and damaged goods, exchange, and
environmental concern make reverse logistics (RL) inevitable in an E-commerce supply
chain. In spite of understanding the importance of RL in current business scenario, most of
the companies concentrate on forward logistics, while reverse flow from customer to
upstream business is not receiving much interest. Considering this less focused aspect of
reverse logistics, the objective of this research is to identify and propose a model to rank the
inhibiting variables i.e. the barriers so the logistician can solve them as per the priority. The
extensive literature survey and experts’ opinion helped in identifying 16 barriers for the
study. But the availability of a number of barriers makes evaluating and selecting the most
important RL barrier a challenging task and thus it can be dealt with as a multi-criteria
decision-making problem. In this paper, a methodology based on analytic hierarchy process
has been used to prioritize the barriers of RL. Findings of this paper show that the lack of
investment in reverse logistics, lack of understanding about best practices and uncertain
return and demand are the three topmost barriers for RL of E-commerce companies.

10] Supply‐chain management, at least in the largest multi‐national corporations, is a global
endeavor. It is undergoing a transformation caused by the worldwide spread of digital
communications, and e‐commerce in particular. Hence, it is necessary to understand the
development of e‐commerce and its future trends. This development is based on what is at
times rather rapid advances generated or supported by the external environment with
factors like institutions and electronic infrastructures. E‐commerce is rapidly spreading
internationally, but by no means uniformly, across boundaries, or for that matter within
countries. The great relevance of examining the international spread of e‐commerce is that
most corporations actually source globally. The stages of e‐commerce evolution, from rather
primitive incipiency to highly advanced B2B forms, are conditioned by factors which range
from the availability of complementary assets to institutional considerations.
