Tidey3

Features:
- What is it? - Sustainably designed tide clock that displays the tide height and
direction of your favourite beach
- Target audience: for sea-users that need to know the current tide for swimming,
surfing, sailing and for sea-lovers to feel that calming sea-connection to a beach
that they love
- Designed for use long-term
- Simplicity: How it works? - Tidey connects to the internet with WiFi which is set up
via a page that you access through your smartphone, tablet or desktop computer.
During set-up you can choose the beach that you want to display from a list of
1000+ beaches categorised by country. Once connected Tidey, continuously
synchronises with the network clock, and stays up-to-date with the current tide
conditions
- Made from a 100% recycled, biodegradable bioplastic fascia
Why underfunded?
- The purpose is not quite clear at the 1st glance
- Pretty narrow target audience
- Challenges with safety testing and certification
- Challenges with development (to ensure that Tidey’s software and data feeds are
able to be upgraded remotely to increase longevity)
- User account and subscription services are in the process of implementation
