Part 2: The chart below show the total number of Olympic medals won by twelve different

countries.

The provided bar chart provides data on the comprehensive collection of Olympic medals which
were acquired by such nations as the USA, UK, France, German, and so on.

Overall, of all the twelve nations, their attained medals vary from gold to silver and bronze, in
which the number of each kind is different within nations. Noticeably, it seems that the USA
gains the most remarkable achievement in Olympics owing to its highest figures for medals.

As for gold medal, the figures for that in the USA are, prodigiously, by far the highest ones, with
roughly 1.000 ones, in comparison with those of the rest of given nations. What’s more, even the
combined number of gold medals of Soviet Union and UK is outweighed by the mentioned
figures. More astoundingly, the number of Soviet Union’s medal, in a whole, is a third of the
USA’s, despite Soviet Union’s second position.

In term of silver and bronze medals, apart from Soviet Union, UK and France, the remained
nations share quite the same number of them, which occupy nearly two third of their total
medal’s number. Meanwhile, it is apparent that Japan gets the lowest rank, when it comes to
nation’s overall figures for medals, with about 400 ones.
