The graphics used in the User Guide for the LCD Monitor SA220Q/SA230 are used to
show what is included to set up and use the monitor. More specifically, the first graphic (first
page) includes the package contents included with the monitor. The graphic includes pictures
everything included with the monitor and identifies what each thing is. The second graphic (first
page) is a picture that shows how to connect all the cables from the tower to the monitor. The
third graphic (second page) is a picture of the panel controls that corresponds to the table (second
page) above it. The graphic numbers each button on the monitor and the table above it identifies
the button and explains what it does using the corresponding number.
The first graphic is very effective in the User Guide. It’s purposeful for the user to be able
to identify what each thing included in the package is and clearly labels them. It is also accurate
with what is included in the package and is not cluttered, making it easy for the user to
understand. The second graphic is also very effective for the user to understand how to connect
all the cables with the towers. The graphic has every part labeled and has enough detail to be
easily able to determine which cable goes in what port. It also includes 4 little images of the
ports and labels them to make it even easier for the user to figure out how to set up. The third
graphic is important because it gives visual context for the table above it. While the table
indicates the icon, item, and description of each button, the graphic numbers the buttons in the
image and those numbers correspond with the numbering in the table. The graphic is easily
understandable for any user by using the table to identify the buttons and describe what each one
