The return to face-to-face classes for the majority of university students in Ecuador has
become complex, in such a way that many of them are discouraged from returning to the
classroom. In the Universities of the Costa region and particularly in Espol, the authorities
together with the student associations are implementing some dynamics in such a way that
university students are motivated to return to face-to-face classes. These activities range from
economic aid to low-income students and the provision of technological tools that help
students perform better in their classes.
