factors.
Sextant 2: Score X indicates that there is no need for treatment.
Sextant 3: Score 2 needs of professional cleaning of the teeth and removal of plaque retentive factors.
(Patient requires oral hygiene instructions).
Sextant 1: Score 4 treated successfully by means of deep scaling and efficient personal oral hygiene
measures. Is therefore assigned as complex treatment which can involve deep scaling, root planning
and more complex procedures.
