PATIENT WITH SWALLOWING DISORDERS

IN DAHLIA GARING BRSU
TABANAN HOSPITAL
2019

ABSTRACT

Ischemic Stroke disease or better known as Non Haemorrhagic Stroke is a

disease that begins with a series of changes in the brain affected, if not treated will
soon end up with death in the brain. Stroke is often caused by thrombosis as a result
of a brain artery atherosclerotic plaque or an embolism from blood vessels outside
the brain lodged in the arteries of the brain. This type of stroke is a type of stroke that
most often affects a person around 80% of all strokes (Junaidi, 2011). The study aims
to describe nursing care in patients with non-hemorrhagic stroke with Swallowing
Disorders at Dahlia Garing BRSU Tabanan Hospital.
This type of research used in this case study is a descriptive study of patients
with non-hemorrhagic stroke with Swallowing Disorders at Dahlia Garing BRSU
Tabanan Hospital. The number of study subjects were 2 subjects with medical
diagnoses nursing problems and the same shall be observed in depth using
documentary study by observing the patient nursing documents.
Based on the results of the study in two patients indicates that there are
similarities between the two non-hemorrhagic stroke patients with impaired
swallowing, in documentation of nursing care in the room but had a difference with
the theory used as a reference by researchers. The expected outcome of this research
is the revision and dissemination on nursing care in order to refer to the 2017
Demographic and Health Survey.
