A- Vocabulary
- Teach the family members. According to the students’ level, you may select the words or give them
the complete family member names.
- Next, teach the jobs/occupations and their working places. Look at the above pictures and make a
list. It’s up to you to add more jobs and their working places.

B- Great family tree Presentation (speaking activity)

- The Teacher must present the family tree and demonstrate the way he/she would like the students
to follow.
- You must highlight the use of the 3rd person (he/she, his/her and the possessive (‘s). Full sentences
are required from the learners.

C- Questions and Answers

- The Teacher should introduce different possible questions and encourage the learners to ask each
other at least 3 questions.
- Some example of the questions: Who is this? What’s his/her job? Where does he/she work? How
many uncles/aunts/cousins has he/she got? What’s the Dentist name? How many children has
he/she got? Who is Adem’s brother? Who are Ela’s parents/grandparents? Where do they work?
What do you know about their jobs? How many siblings has he/she got? Etc.
