VEERMATA JIJABAI TECHNOLOGICAL INSTITUTE, MUMBAI -19 Circular: No: Dean Academic/2022/ 2 | Date: 17-02-2022 ‘Sub: Reopening the Institute Hostels, Mode of Examination and Conduct of Classes In the HoD’s and Dean’s Meeting held on 16/02/2022, following decisions were taken with espect to reopening the Institute Hostels in stages, to start the offline classes and examination (MST & ESE). 1. Reopening of the Institute Hostel in stages a) For Second and Third Year B.Tech and Diploma Students: From 2™ March 2022, b) Final Year B.Tech Students and First Year Diploma Students: From 28" March 2022, ) First Year B.Tech Students: From 18" April 2022. 4) Fees applicable for hostel and messes will be proportionate to the stay in hostel during this academic year. Exact applicable fees will be communicated soon. 2. Teaching Learning Process: a) Flexibility to attend the online classes for students of First year to Final year B.Tech and Diploma students will be continued till the end of classes of the ongoing semester. b) First Year M.Tech and MCA classes will start only in offline mode from 28" February 2022. 3. Mid Semester and End Semester Examination 4) Mid Semester Test of the Second, Third and Final year students of B.Tech and Dipoma will be conducted in hybrid mode i.e online as well as offline. Students have flexibility to choose any mode. b) End Semester Examination of the Second, Third and Final year students of B.Tech and First Year M.Tech, MCA students will be conducted in offline mode only. ©) End Semester Examination of first year students of B.tech will be conducted in hybrid ‘mode i.e online as well as offline. Students have flexibility to choose any mode. 4) Mode for End Semester Examination of Diploma students will be communicated by Dean Diploma shortly.
