to attain individual and organisational goals, tells Murli Menon, an internationally


acclaimed ZeNLP trainer.

Murli Menon conducts storytelling sessions based on ancient wisdom for HR Heads,
Learning and Development Heads, school principals, coaches and Motivational Speakers
using Travel Storytelling for Trainers since 1995.
Murli has been pursuing advanced research on the effects of Storytelling on the
unconscious mind.
He is the president of phenoMenon consultants inc, Ahmedabad, which conducts
storytelling workshops for senior managers based on travel to the most primitive tribes in
India, Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia and Tibet which are attended by
HRD Heads, company directors and CEOs.
ZeNLP is a school of psychological thought which believes that the language of stories
can bring about a structural change in behaviour. ZeNLP gave him a second life. The left
side of his body was paralysed after a dreadful accident in January 1995 and the doctors
had written him off as a vegetable. But, thanks to the NLP training and zen meditation, he
had a miraculous recovery within five months.

Murli is the author of 20 Storytelling books on Amazon kindle books and Google play
books. His first book ZeNLP - The Power To Succeed. was published by Sage Publishing
in 2004,.
"ZeNLP: The Power to Relax", his second book, speaks about his interactions with
different tribes like the Mankadia and Kadia tribes of Orissa, Siddi tribe of Gujarat, Bonda
tribe on the Andhra Pradesh-Orissa borders and the Murut tribe of Indonesia.
Murli wrote his autobiography titled" ZeNLP learning through stories" in 2014. It is a
collection of autobiographical short stories about his travel adventures in Gujarat, Kerala,
Odisha,Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia and India.
Murli writes a Storytelling column in "The World Hindu News" published from Texas, besides
contributing travel stories to "South Asian Times, New York, Touristm Asean, Singapore,
International Indian, Dubai, Indian Weekly Dubai amongst others. Murli is baded at Ahmedabad
